North Shore CDC is committed to improving our communities by providing affordable housing to families and individuals in need. From formerly unhoused youth to single parents with children and now seniors, we aim to alleviate poverty in the communities that we serve by providing stable and safe housing for those who need it most.

In the past 20 years, North Shore CDC has grown its portfolio to include 474 apartments in Salem, Beverly, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Gloucester, with another 195 in our development pipeline, including housing for seniors and artists, and our first project in Peabody.

North Shore CDC has been committed to sustainability and green construction since before it became an industry norm. Our two newest projects are Passive House certified (PHIUS) and saving energy as a result of solar panel installations. Our goal is to make every project as energy efficient as possible, and to pass along these benefits to the residents.
