Young Adult Housing Outreach

Our Youth and Young Adult services include outreach, supportive housing, and a thriving youth workforce development program to support youth and young adults ages 16-24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness living in Lynn and Salem.

Young Adult Housing Outreach (YAHO) program pairs Case Management with financial assistance to directly address the needs of 18 to 24-year-olds experiencing housing instability. The program is managed by North Shore Housing Action Group (NSHAG) and covers 30 cities in the Essex County region. We specifically focus on supporting unhoused young adults in Lynn and Salem. The YAHO program provides supportive services and case management to help with housing stabilization, education, employment, basic needs, wellness, and access to a region-wide supportive network of community partners.

If you or someone you know needs supportive services, please contact our Kira Riley, Youth Services Coordinator, at kira@northshorecdc.org.
