The Residences at Endicott is a new senior housing development located at 40–42 Endicott Street in Peabody. This project, led by North Shore CDC, will transform the site of a former manufacturing company into a modern four-story building featuring 48 one-bedroom apartments designed exclusively for seniors. The development will include indoor and outdoor common spaces, a property management office, a resident services office, and flexible meeting areas, all built to universal design standards.
Conveniently situated near downtown Peabody, The Residences at Endicott is just 0.4 miles from the Peter A. Torigian Senior Center, which offers a wide range of programs and resources for older adults. To further support residents, an on-site Resident Services Coordinator will be available to connect individuals with essential services and programs.
The community will provide 100% affordable housing, with 30 units reserved for households earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI), 10 units for households below 50% AMI, and 8 units for households below 30% AMI. The building will encompass approximately 45,000 square feet and include 10 fully ADA-accessible units, as well as five units specifically designed for residents with sensory impairments. This development represents a significant investment in affordable housing for seniors, combining thoughtful design, accessibility, and proximity to vital services.
