Milagros “Milly” Pichardo has been a Point Resident for over 10 years. In her previous role as the 2022 LISC AmeriCorps Member serving as the Family Stability Coordinator, she was responsible for bringing support to families that are going through challenging times serving as a coach, developing plans for individuals to overcome hardship, works closely with partner providers to troubleshoot barriers to housing stability such as budgeting, legal matters, employment, health care, assists residents with access and connections to community support and services, and maintains our database of housed program participants and track tenancy concerns. After the completion of her AmeriCorps service, Milly rejoined the team in January 2023 as the Community Building Fellow, leading community computer classes, the VITA Free Tax Preparation program, and more. She has recently moved into a new role as Community Building Specialist where she leads North Shore CDC’s Digital Navigator program.
