Ilene has been at North Shore CDC since 2012 and served as our first Director of Real Estate. Ilene was responsible for finding possible new projects, pulling together and overseeing all the components of the project from funding to permanent loan closing, and oversees the real estate team. Ilene is inspired by the belief that everyone has the right to affordable, safe, and attractive housing. Ilene serves on the board of the Swampscott Affordable Housing Trust and on RocknRow and volunteers for JC&FS. Ilene plans to retire at the end of 2026 and has transitioned into her new role of Director of Strategic Development prior to retirement. One of Ilene’s main goals has been to support our new Director of Real Estate, Cassie, shift into her role. Ilene’s greatest love is spending time with her family and foster dogs.
