Residences at St. James is part of the Salem Schools project that also includes Hawthorne Lofts. Salem Schools entails the extensive renovation of two historic former schools into modern and energy efficient affordable housing. At this location 31 units will be built for heads of household who are age 62 and over (with no discrimination against children).
This project is currently under construction. Construction is expected at the end of 2025. Please check back on this site in the summer of 2025 for more information on applications and the housing lottery.
