North Shore Community Development Coalition invests in neighborhoods to create thriving communities.
About North Shore CDC
North Shore Community Development Coalition carries forward 40 years of collective experience and successful community investment on the North Shore, having reorganized as a regional community development organization in 2011.
As the only regional community development organization serving the North Shore, North Shore CDC is positioned to bring our neighborhood development model to communities throughout our region. Focusing on low-income and distressed neighborhoods, we’ve committed to transformational, sustainable revitalization in Salem, Peabody, and Beverly.
This summer, North Shore CDC will host our 5th Annual Community Build Days that engage large volunteer groups (from corporations to residents) on neighborhood revitalization projects in low-income neighborhoods in Salem, Beverly, Peabody, and Gloucester. These events will be led by youth in our Students Take Action in Neighborhood Development (STAND) program, YouthBuild North Shore program, and Community Engagement staff.
North Shore CDC team is thrilled to invite local and emerging artists to join the Punto Urban Art Museum. The selected artists will have the opportunity to display their art as part of the same project as a very exclusive and highly talented group of urban art leaders leading the street art movement at the national and international scale.
