Salem Point Apartments
In 1989, a group of tenants living in the Salem Point Apartments approached the CDC about developing their buildings into permanently affordable housing that would provide them with housing stability. By 1992, the properties were acquired and rehabilitated by North Shore CDC.
Salem Point Apartments offer 48 two-bedrooms and 29 three-bedroom apartments for local families.
Although the original tenants have moved on, these buildings are still owned and managed by North shore CDC and remain as 100% affordable housing to the families in the neighborhood.
